South-Barrie grocery store hit

Three people face theft charges after shoplifters fled a south-Barrie grocery store Tuesday afternoon.

City police located a vehicle in north-Barrie, stopped it and arrested the trio at about 1 p.m.

A 33-year-old woman was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated assault and obstructing police.

A 39-year-old man was also wanted by Toronto police for being unlawfully at large.

The third person facing a theft charge is a 32-year-old man.

All three were taken to police cells and held for bail hearings.

Police say the investigation is continuing.
