15 year old Kyle Spanton of Submission Arts Academy in Barrie was never great at traditional sports. Put a hockey stick in his hands and he'll probably trip over it, but he found his true passion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Kyle has competed and won at every event in Canada including the "the open" Canada's largest Jiu-Jitsu event that hosts over a thousand competitors once a year. Kyle will be taking his talents to represent Canada and Barrie at the IBJJF world championships in Long Beach California this June where he hopes bring back gold. Kyle is a special talent, a once in a lifetime talent.
