Barrie Sharks Senior C Team Tournament Results

The Rama Moccasin and Smoke Casa Del Humidor senior ladies competitive hockey team competed in two tournaments recently, where they claimed the silver medal in both.
The first was the Clearview Ice Cats March Madness where they faced off in game one against the Ice Cats B team. They lost the first match 5-1 with the loan goal being scored by Krystin Wallace assisted by Emily Moore. Tanya Dickey was the player of the game. In game two they defeated the Barrie Sharks Senior B team 4-1. Goal scorers were Dana Suddaby, Krystin Wallace, and Sam Lewis had a pair. Assists went to Emily Moore, Lewis, Stephanie Kivell, Wallace and Brittany McCuaig. In game three the ladies defeated the Clifford Barn Cats 4-1 to continue their scoring streak. Dana Suddaby, and Krystin Wallace had singles while Sam Lewis added another pair. Assists went to Emily Moore, Lewis, Stephanie Kivell, Wallace and Brittany McCuaig. Sam Lewis was the player of the game. The ladies then settled for silver in the final losing 2-0 to Clearview.

The ladies then travelled to Leaside for the March Break Madness tournament where they defeated Orillia Hawks 1-0 to start things off. Amy Lawson scored the loan goal unassisted. Goaltender Meagan Rumsby was named player of the game. The Sharks then defeated Toronto Leaside Wildcats 2-1. Brittany McCuaig and Taylor Brown scored with assists going to Kelcey McCuaig and Jennifer Roters. Krystin Wallace was player of the game.

Game three saw the Sharks wallop the Brampton Cougars 6-0. Goal scorers were Kelcey McCuaig, Amy Lawson (2), Krystin Wallace, Dana Suddaby, and Sam Lewis. Assists went to Emily Moore, Jennifer Roters (2),Stephanie Kivell, Taylor Brown, and Brittany Wilson. Player of the game was Brittany McCuaig.

The ladies then went to the Championship where they were defeated by the Orillia Hawks 4-2. Tanya Dickey and Amy Lawson were the goal scorers with assists going to Brittany McCuaig and Krystin Wallace. Amy Lawson was player of the game.

The ladies had a great season and were happy to finish it off with two silver medals.
