It was the best speech by far at the 82nd Oscars and this was coming from the best actress awardee for the night, Sandra Bullock. It was both funny and teary as Sandra made viewers both at the Kodak Theater and at those at home laughs and cries acknowledging her mother whose tenth death anniversary will be celebrated next month.

The Jewish Community of Barrie will be holding their annual Holocaust Education day on Thursday November 5th at the Barrie City Hall. This year there will be an art theme. All schools who are interested in coming to the event, please email jacob@jewishbarrie.com for the schedule of events.
