  • The Women in Business luncheon event is the region's premier venue to showcase and celebrate the achievements of business women in our area.
    The event consists of a reception allowing guests to mingle while viewing display tables from local businesswomen, followed by a plated lunch, awards, a multimedia presentation honoring the nominees, speakers and a fashion show. The upscale event is an annual and anticipated affair. Awards for “Business Woman of the Year” and the “Heart and Soul” award will be presented at the event and we are pleased to announce a new award in 2008 for Future Woman In Business Award for a female student at Georgian College.
    The event is supplemented by a special “Women in Business” section to be distributed in The Barrie Examiner, featuring the 2008 “Business Woman of the Year” award winner, and profiling other outstanding women in the community.
    Local business owners have the opportunity to showcase their business at the event in a mini trade-show environment. Tables will be available on a limited basis.
