a couple of shopping obervations I've made these last few weeks, starting with various sale staff and cashiers suffering through miserable moods of late. Just last Saturday I was taken aback by the sheer rudeness of a cashier at a popular sweet store my friend and I were shopping in. I realized the cashier was in no mood to be friendly, but, good grief, it was the day before Easter and we were in a store specializing in sweets. The lineup was long, granted, but no excuse for such a lack of civility. I thought it was me, but my girfriend bristled when we left the store.
Don't like your job on the front lines? Well, move over and give it to someone else who likes meeting and greeting the public.
And speaking of -- what's with the constant guilt trip whenever you ask for a plastic bag? Or when every single item you purchase -including eggs and tomatoes! -- get crammed into that one bag. These are not major requests, people, so listen up -- and lighten up!
Is it an envelope? A folded up map? Not really -- it's a wallet! The Mighty Wallet, a real conversation starter, created with tear-resistant, water-resistant, expandable and recyclable material. The Mighty Wallet is environmentally friendly and affordable, helping consumers save green while being green.
It's made from a single folded sheet of a super strong microfiber material called Tyvek, the same material found in express mail envelopes. The super thin folded design has no stitches and can instantly adjust to hold a lot of a little. It's lightweight and slender, includes 2 large pockets for cash and receipts, 2 interior pockets to hold credit cards and ID, and 2 quick access business cards on the outside for easy access while on the go. It's like giving your pocket its own personality.
-- THE MIGHTY WALLET comes in a wide range of urban designs including airmail, newsprint, comic book, grafitti, tattoo, cup and saucer, postcard and more. Perfect gift idea for Earth Day! Available at retailers across Canada for around $15. Check Thetategroup.comfor more info.
