Healthy workplaces honoured

Sharon Partridge, manager, employee engagement at Royal Victoria Hospital, accepted top honours at the 2009 Healthy Workplace Awards held Thursday at the RVH. This is the fourth year the hospital has won the award which shows its dedication to programs that promote a healthier lifestyle for their employees.
RVH was among 12 employers in the region recognized.
They include: Barrie & Community Family Health Team; Canadian Mental Association - Barrie/Simcoe; Casino Rama; Kinark Child and Family Services; Georgian College; Mental Health Centre in Penetanguishene; North Simcoe Hospital Alliance; Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit; Springwater Township; Villa Care Centre; and VON Simcoe County.
