BRADFORD – A local woman faces charges after three police officers were assaulted at an apartment and the station Wednesday night.

Just before 10 p.m., South Simcoe police were called after a neighbour heard a loud argument. Arriving officers heard a man and woman arguing, and a child crying.

When the two officer entered the apartment, police said, both were assaulted.

A 27-year-old Bradford woman was arrested and taken from the home, but at the police station a third officer was assaulted and a police cruiser door damaged.

Police said marijuana was also seized at the apartment.

Both were held for bail hearings.

The child was not injured and was taken by other family.
