Simcoe County residents are being asked to help shape the future of transportation in this region and beyond.

The Transportation Tomorrow Survey looks to assist in the long-term planning of the transportation system.

Approximately 160,000 households across southern Ontario are being randomly selected to complete the survey, and you may receive a letter or phone call asking you to participate.

The survey is confidential, will take approximately 10 minutes of your time, and focuses on where members of the household 11 years of age and older travelled the previous day, how they got to and from their destinations, plus a few demographic questions.

Information gathered from this survey will inform decisions on highway improvements, development proposals, improving transit services and determining the need for GO Transit improvements.

The survey is carried out  every five years,  in partnership with the County of Simcoe, the Ontario government, Toronto Transit Commission, Metrolinx/GO Transit, and 18 other municipal/local governments in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Golden Horseshoe Area.
