The 15-year-old was threatened with stabbing and his cellphone was also stolen, city police said.

At 7:10 a.m., police received a call from a citizen who was flagged down by the teen, who had just come from the Jessica Drive park.

He gave officers a description of the suspect, who was found a short distance away, on foot.

An 18-year-old Barrie male was arrested and charged with robbery.

Police also found some cocaine and charged him with drug possession. He was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
