Simcoe County Archives celebrates 50 years

The Simcoe County Archives celebrated its 50th anniversary on Wednesday.

The collection at the archives dates back more than 500 years with the bulk starting from the mid-1800s.

The current facility, which was built in 1979, has received two expansions. So far this year, it has acquired 150 shelves of material, housed in a-state-of-the-art facility.
