Knights leading the way

The St. Joan of Arc Knights continue to be the cream of the crop among Catholic high schools in the Barrie area.

St. Joan of Arc's senior boys football team has a 3-0 record in Catholic School Athletics of Simcoe County (CSASC) action. The team also has a 56-0 point differential, having yet to surrender a single point to its opposition in three games.

The St. Thomas Aquinas Stingers and the St. Peter's Panthers have matching 2-1 records, followed by the St. Theresa's Thunder at 1-2, with the Patrick Fogarty Flames and St. Joseph's Jaguars both at 0-2 and looking for their first victories.

Two games were scheduled for Thursday, with Fogarty taking on St. Theresa's and St. Joseph's hosting St. Thomas Aquinas, but that game was cancelled.
