BRADFORD -

Two Catholic School Athletics of Simcoe County (CSASC) soccer championships were played in Bradford on Holy Trinity Catholic High School's soccer pitch on Thursday.

The Holy Trinity Tigers competed in both the senior and junior girls 'AA' soccer championship games.

In the morning, the senior Tigers took on Orillia's Patrick Fogarty Flames and recorded a decisive win over the visitors to take the senior 'AA' Catholic-board title.

Later in the day, Holy Trinity's junior girls took to the field and registered a convincing win over Collingwood's Jean Vanier Storm to claim the junior Catholic-board crown.

Both Holy Trinity schools will now move on to the Georgian Bay Secondary School Association (GBSSA) tournament which includes champions from the public school board.

On Tuesday, the Holy Trinity senior girls will face the Nottawasaga Pines Timberwolves from Angus, while Holy Trinity's junior girls will battle Orillia's Twin Lakes Thunderbirds.

Both games will be played at Holy Trinity, with the senior game at 1 p.m. and the juniors hitting the pitch at 2:30 p.m.
