One hundred students from the Kasukabe Kyoei Junior High School are returning home Friday after studying at five different high schools around Barrie and area (Eastview, Barrie North, Innisdale, Bear Creek and Nottawasaga Pines) for the past few weeks.

Their program consisted of ESL classes, integrating into Canadian classes with Canadian buddies as well as activities such as a full day in Toronto, an afternoon snow tubing, and a trip to Niagara Falls.

A farewell party was held earlier this week for the students and their host families at Bear Creek Secondary School.

This is the 9th year for the program.
