Are you chipping ice away from the step of your front door on the inside?

Maybe you noticed your hair blowing around from a draft from some unknown source.

It might be time to get a new door.

You're in luck as Ernie Ebner and the staff at Northern Comfort Windows & Doors are looking for the ugliest door around.

Put it to the test in the 'Ugliest Door Photo Contest!'

The Barrie Examiner and Northern Comfort Windows & Doors are challenging customers to prove to us they have the ugliest door in the neighbourhood.

By submitting a photo of your ugly door on the Barrie Examiner's contest page, you have the chance to win a new door system valued at $1,500.

“There's a lot of reasons why people don't realize the condition of their doors until it starts getting cold outside, then they start feeling the drafts,” said Northern Comfort president Ernie Ebner at his Bryne Drive showroom.

“It's also costing them money as heating costs rise.”

New technology has impacted the renovation market, and windows and doors are no exception.

What a lot of customers appreciate is the quality of the installers, and Northern Comfort has some of the best.

“With this contest we are offering three things,” said Ebner. “The door will save you money and it will keep your house warmer, it will improve the security and finally improve the curb appeal of your home.”

Send your photos to the Examiner's contest page at www.thebarrieexaminer.com/contests.
