Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman hosted his second annual New Year's Day levee on Tuesday and helped out the United Way Greater Simcoe County.

The event enlisted the culinary talents of chefs from local restaurants to garner support for the county-wide charity.

Residents were invited to the City Hall Rotunda to chat with the mayor, listen to live music and taste what The North Restaurant, Tara Cuisine, Unity Market, Cheeky Treats, the Lemon Tree Bakery and Catering by Rose have to offer.

All proceeds help support the United Way.
