Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield recently blasted off into space aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft along with two other astronauts and is now settled on the International Space Station for a five-month mission.
Hadfield, 53, will be a flight engineer aboard the space station until March 2013, when he will take over as commander. He will be the first Canadian commander of the space station.
Hadfield will also be conducting scientific experiments and operating the Canadarm2.
