Kealey Clarke is the winner of the 2011 Youth Spirit Catcher Award in Barrie.

She has been an exceptionally accomplished organizer, volunteer and fundraiser in her commitment in raising money for children living with cancer.

Her participation has included support of the Inside Ride at Innisdale Secondary; the Tour for Kids Ontario and the National Day of Awareness for Childhood Cancer.

Kealey was the lead organizer of the 'Innisdale Secondary - The Inside Ride' charity cycling event.

She brought the event to Innisdale to raise awareness of childhood cancer.

Participants register and ride in teams of six to raise money for the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation.

As the lead organizer, Kealey has successfully managed to raise close to $28,000 since bringing this event to Innisdale.

Recently, a good friend of Kealey's was diagnosed with leukemia.

Kealey was aware that her friend's family would spend countless hours at the hospital to support their child, which would also compromise their livelihood.

Kealey decided to organize a fundraiser to assist the family financially.

She approached individuals, businesses and organizations to donate items to be auctioned at a local restaurant.

Through this effort, Kealey raised approximately $30,000 for this family which was going through an emotional and financial crisis.

A model citizen, Kealey unselfishly devotes her time and energy to help others.

It is obvious that volunteering is Kealey's way of valuing life in her community, which simply and genuinely transcends to her very spirit.
