A fundraiser was held Sunday at Ol' West Wing restaurant in Barrie to benefit Adam Fedosoff.

The Innisdale Secondary School student, now 16, was diagnosed with leukemia at age 13. His family has focused on getting him better, which has included a nine-month stay at Ronald McDonald House in Toronto where he received an aggressive medical treatment.

When his situation started to improve, Fedosoff discovered road cycling and participated in the Tour For Kids Ontario last summer -- a four-day ride to help raise money to send children with cancer to camp.

Sunday's event was called 'Friends of Feddy Fundraiser', and included a silent auction and draws.
