21 July 2010 Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan A Ramp Ceremony was held at Kandahar Airfield on 21 July 2010 for Sapper Brian J. Collier, who was killed by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) while on a foot patrol in Nakhoney south of Kandahar on 20 June 2010. Sapper Collier, Member of 1 Combat Engineer Regiment (1CER) was on his first deployment to Afghanistan. JTF-Afg is CanadaÕs military contribution to Afghanistan. A ramp ceremony was held at Kandahar Airfield on July 21 for Sapper Brian J. Collier.

The Bradford man was killed by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) while on a foot patrol in Nakhoney south of Kandahar on July 20. Collier, Member of 1 Combat Engineer Regiment (1CER) was on his first deployment to Afghanistan.
