REST FOR THE WICKED

The Colts opted to rest some regulars again on Friday. Defenceman Alex Pietrangelo and forwards Kyle Clifford, Zac Rinaldo and Stefan Della Rovere were given the night off.

Defenceman Ken Peroff and forwards Craig Moore, Sam Carrick, Cody Hodgson and Alex O'Neil were scratched from Brampton's lineup.

PITHER A STREAKER

Colts overage forward Luke Pither came in riding a 13-game point streak. Since Feb. 12, the Burketon native has put up six goals and 18 assists. He entered the game third in the league with 93 points. Forward Kyle Clifford's 12-game point streak came to an end with he was scratched from the lineup.

WIND SAILING

Barrie native Cameron Wind has played in all but two games for the Battalion this season. In 64 games, the second-year defenceman has three goals, eight assists and a plus-8 rating.

BENCH SHUFFLE

Colts power-play coach Frank Carnevale has been behind the bench for the past two games, as assistant coach David Bell has been out on scouting assignments with the playoffs looming.

TOP 'O THE NIGHT?

The Colts will close out the regular season at home on Saturday by holding the annual St. Patrick's Day jersey auction.
